Søren Coens

Søren is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. By joining Capitant he wants to deepen his understanding of the industry while connecting with like-minded individuals. On top of this, he is also interested in rising markets, corporate finance, and exploring areas such as private equity and venture capital.

Jens Borghgraef

Jens is a master’s student in Business Engineering with a specialization in Finance. Interested in a diverse range of subjects, with a specific focus on financial markets, financial analysis and fintech applications.

Merijn Rogiers

Merijn is currently pursuing his Master Business Engineering with specialization in Operations Management. He is very interested in personal finance and private equity. Outside his studies, he enjoys playing football and spending time with friends.

Fries Braet

Fries is a third-year Bachelor’s student in Business Engineering, with a profound interest in corporate finance, financial analysis, and accounting. Furthermore, he is passionate about cooking, traveling, and all kinds of sports.

Louise Bastijns

In addition to her role at Capitant, Louise enjoys staying active through regular sports sessions. Professionally, she is interested in a diverse range of topics, with a particular focus on financial markets, fintech, and strategic decision-making. Academically, Louise is pursuing her master’s degree in Corporate Finance.

Halit Pala

Halit is currently pursuing a master in Business Engineering at Ghent University. His interests include M&A, Corporate Finance and Private Equity. Outside of his academic life, he likes spending time with friends & family and plays football at club level.

Arthur Snoecx

Arthur is currently in his third year of a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, during which he has developed a strong interest in investment banking, private equity, and venture capital. He is passionate about sports, particularly competitive tennis. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with friends.

Lola Philippart

Lola is a 22-year-old master's student in Business Engineering - Finance at Ghent University. She also studied at Nova SBE in Lisbon for one semester. With a passion for running, hiking, nature and traveling, she values balance and curiosity. As Marketing Manager in Ghent, she hopes to inspire students to take part in Capitant’s events and grow their interest in finance.

Hanne Slabbinck

Hanne is a bachelor’s student in Economics at Ghent University. Her interests lie in finance and macro-economics. In her spare time she likes to stay active, travel and read.

Thomas Manders

Thomas is currently pursuing a bachelor in economics at Ghent university. His interests include strategy consulting, M&A and Private Equity. Outside of his academic life, you can find him with his friends and family.
