Michiel Claes - National President
Michiel is 25 years old, he’s a master’s student in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Banking. He is passionate about a lot of topics in finance but mainly interested in Asset Management. Besides his interest in Finance, he’s inspired by photography and endurance sports. This combination leads him to explore and capture some of the more and lesser known beauty in Europe.
Amber Van Cauwenbergh - Director Treasury & Legal
Amber, a 22-year-old Master of Laws student at Ghent University, is passionate about the intersection of economics, finance, and law. She’s set on becoming a lawyer in these dynamic fields. When she’s not immersed in her studies or contributing to Capitant, you can find her hitting the pavement for a run or enjoying dinner and drinks with friends.
Gianni Vermeire - Director Corporate Relations
Gianni is a bachelor’s student in Business Engineering at Ghent University. His interests are very broad and include financial markets, financial analysis and real estate.
Thomas De Baerdemaeker - Director Marketing
Thomas is a 20 y/o master’s student in Business Engineering at Ghent University. He is passioned by finance, entrepreneurship and watches. In his leisure you can find him running, cycling or hanging out with friends, probably discussing stock portfolios or business ideas.
Julie Debou - Director Projects
Julie is a 20 year old bachelor student in Business Engineering at Ghent University. She is passionate about finance and economics with a particular interest in Asset Management and stock markets. You can always find her either with an educational book or a fictional book as she is an avid reader. Next to that she likes to go for a run or have some drinks with friends.
Seppe Aerden - Director Career
Seppe is a 24 years old graduate in MSc. Business Engineering at the Catholic University of Leuven. Despite being interested in all things finance, Seppe is mainly motivated to pursue a career in investment banking, private equity or venture capital. Besides finance, his interests lie in history, politics and art. When he is not studying, you can find him playing basketball and tennis or busy exploring the cultural heritage of Europe.
