Simon Lipperts - President
As President of Capitant Leuven, my goal is to make a lasting impact by bridging the gap between university life and the fast-paced corporate world. My studies in Business and Information Systems Engineering anchor this ambition, giving me the foundation to explore exactly how technology is actively reshaping the future of finance.
Michiel Talloen - Vice-president
Michiel Talloen is a master's student in Business Economics at KU Leuven, majoring in Accounting and Financial Management. His strong interest in corporate finance drives him to keep building on his financial knowledge alongside his studies. After a year as Board Member Marketing, he now serves as Vice-President of Capitant Leuven, where he combines his passion for organizing meaningful events with his ambition to grow as a finance professional. Outside of Capitant, you can find him on the tennis court, out for a run, going to the gym, or spending time with friends.
Louise Legrand - Treasury
Louise is a 22-year-old student pursuing her second master’s degree in Accountancy and Analytics at KU Leuven. As Board Member Treasury at Capitant Leuven, she is responsible for managing and overseeing the organization’s financial affairs. Her responsibilities include financial planning, budgeting, and monitoring expenses to support Capitant Leuven’s activities, growth, and operations.
Calvin Govaerts - IT
Calvin is a student at KU Leuven with a strong interest in the intersection of finance, technology and data. Alongside his studies, he has gained hands-on experience in fintech through an internship at InvestSuite, where he worked on market research, data-driven solutions and AI applications. As a Board Member IT at Capitant Leuven, he combines his technical interests with his passion for finance, helping to support and further develop Capitant’s digital infrastructure.
Noa Vander Goten - Corporate Relations
Noa is a master’s student in Business Engineering at KU Leuven. As a Board Member Corporate Relations at Capitant Leuven, he is responsible for building and maintaining valuable relationships with Capitant’s partners.
Aurélie De Decker - Corporate Relations
Aurélie is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Business Engineering at KU Leuven, majoring in Accounting and Financial Management. With a strong interest in finance and consulting, she serves Capitant Leuven as a Board Member Corporate Relations at Capitant Leuven. Within this role, she builds and maintains meaningful partnerships with companies and connects students with the professional world. Outside of Capitant, you can usually find her spending time with friends or pushing her limits during a personal training session at the gym.
Arthur Fryns - Corporate Relations
Arthur is a final-year master's student in Business Engineering, with a keen interest in how technology and automation are reshaping the finance industry. As Board Member Corporate Relations at Capitant Leuven, he builds and maintains the partnerships that connect students with companies in the sector.
Ruben Marchal- Career
Ruben Marchal is a second year master student in Actuarial and Financial Engineering at KU Leuven and is combining his studies with an internship at a Belgian insurer. His strong interest in financial engineering and asset management drives him to further develop his financial skills as Board Member Career at Capitant. Outside of these commitments, he can be found in the gym or going for a run.
Mattis Van Gastel - Career
Mattis is a master student in Actuarial and Financial Engineering at KU Leuven. His strong interest in asset management and private equity drives his ambition to deepen his finance skills, which he is actively developing through his role in the Career department at Capitant. Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, you can find him hitting the gym or relaxing with friends on a terrace.
Kobe Loos - Projects
Kobe is 21 years old and is pursuing a Master of Science in Business Economics at KU Leuven. His strong interest in asset management and corporate finance led him to major in Risk & Finance. Eager to develop both his academic and practical knowledge of finance, Kobe serves as Board Member Projects. Outside of these commitments, you can find him enjoying a pint with friends or at the gym.
Marie Rommens - Projects
Marie is 22 years old and is pursuing a Master in Business Engineering at KU Leuven, majoring in Entrepreneurship & Technology. With a genuine interest in finance, especially within asset management and real estate, she joined Capitant to gain hands-on experience and sharpen her skills in the field. She currently serves as Board Member Projects, contributing to the team's projects throughout the year. To recharge, she enjoys playing tennis and spending time with friends.
Thomas Crivellari - Projects
Thomas is a master’s student in Economics, Law and Business Administration at KU Leuven, majoring in Finance and Financial law. His interest in corporate finance and law led him to pursue this specialisation, and he combines his studies with his role as Board Member Projects at Capitant. Outside of that, you can find him playing football, going for a run, in the mountains, or scuba diving.
Wout De Gieter - Marketing Manager
Wout is a 21-year-old master’s student in Business Engineering at KU Leuven. As Marketing Manager at Capitant Leuven, he is responsible for managing the local marketing and social media together with the marketing team. He has a strong interest in both Asset Management and Corporate Finance, and enjoys exploring financial markets and investment opportunities.
Eline Stassen - Marketing
Eline is a master’s student in Business Engineering at KU Leuven, majoring in Accounting and Financial Management, with a strong interest in consulting and M&A. As a Board Member Marketing, she combines creativity with strategy while working across the different areas of Capitant and complementing her academic knowledge with practical experience. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, running, and spending time with friends.
Miron Schellens - Marketing
Miron is a bachelor’s student in Business Engineering at KU Leuven with a strong interest in private equity, corporate finance and entrepreneurship. Alongside his studies, he founded Mironcello, his own limoncello brand, allowing him to turn his passion for entrepreneurship into practice. Eager to further develop his knowledge and connect with the financial world, he is also active as Board Member Marketing at Capitant Leuven. Outside of these commitments, Miron enjoys spending time with friends and family, going for a run or hitting the gym.
Fleur Segers - Marketing
Fleur is a 22-year-old master’s student in Business Economics at KU Leuven, majoring in Accounting and Financial Management. She has a strong interest in Asset Management and Project Finance, and enjoys exploring the different sides of the financial world. As a Board Member Marketing at Capitant Leuven, she works on promoting the organisation and its activities to students. Outside of her studies, she enjoys playing tennis and padel.
Siebe Stevens - Marketing
Siebe is a bachelor’s student in Business Economics at KU Leuven. Known for his results-driven mindset and deep passion for corporate finance, his primary interest lies in the fast-paced world of M&A and Asset Management. As a board Member Marketing, he aims to maximize Capitant's recognition & impact. To clear his mind and stay active, he enjoys hitting the gym and running.
