Vesper Ventures is a Belgian entrepreneurial investment and advisory firm founded by Jan De Roeck, Jaime Cuykens, and Jonathan Thelen. The founders bring combined experience in entrepreneurship, investment banking, and C-level leadership.

We operate across three core verticals: (i) M&A and Fundraising Advisory, (ii) Strategic Financial Services, and (iii) Venture Capital through NXT, a curated investment syndicate of 70+ active investors powered by BeAngels.

Our mission is to support ambitious entrepreneurs and innovative companies, from early-stage startups to scaling SMEs.

What We Offer

  • Gain end-to-end exposure to live M&A and fundraising mandates, from sourcing to valuation, pitch building, investor outreach, and execution.
  • Contribute to strategic financial projects, including financial analysis, company analysis, and preparation of investment materials.
  • Participate in venture-style deal flow and learn how early-stage companies are assessed, selected, and supported.
  • Work directly with C-level executives, founders, and investors.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the Belgian startup and venture capital landscape.

What We Look For

  • A genuine interest in finance, strategy, and investments.
  • Willingness to take ownership and share opinions in a proactive and thoughtful way.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.

Practicalities

Internship Period

We recruit interns on a rolling basis and welcome applications year-round. Currently, we are looking for interns to start from September 2025 onward, but candidates interested in a later start, including early 2026, are also encouraged to apply.
