Role of the Analyst Intern

The Analyst Intern will be an integral part of the European investment team. Responsibilities include:

• Identifying and engaging prospective investments through deep market research

• Developing insightful investment recommendations for the senior team

• Supporting ongoing deal processes to ensure successful execution (e.g., due diligence, valuation)

Profile of the candidate

• Degree or pursuing a Degree in Finance, Business or Engineering from a leading university or business school

• Previous internship experience is required

• International experience / mindset and passion for B2C Industries is required (ideally incl.Digital)

• Strong analytical skills: ability to analyse and model investment opportunities (Excel)

• Strong communication skills: ability to convince stakeholders

• Entrepreneurial self-starter, as well as constructive team-player

• Fluent in English and at least one other international language

Details of the internship

• Start date to be jointly agreed upon

• Brussels based, but working with a European scope

• 4-6 months initial period – possibility of an extra 3 months at discretion of Verlinvest and the intern

• Visas / work permits will not be accommodated

• Market conform remuneration
