Private Equity Internship (m/f/x) - Strada Partners (Antwerp)

Our opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual with a strong analytical mindset and demonstrated interest in private equity, finance and value creation. During this internship, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of European Private Equity by working with the investment team on deal sourcing, evaluating investment opportunities, supporting the investment decision making process, and helping management teams bring their company to the next level.

• Supporting the investment decision making process through due diligence support, reference calls, market research, preparation of materials, etc.

▪ Supporting portfolio company management teams on strategic initiatives

• Getting exposure to a fast-paced learning environment including financial analysis and (LBO) modelling in Excel, slides creation in PowerPoint, investment memo drafting in Word etc.

• Being part of the deal teams and working alongside a team of well-seasoned investment professionals and management teams

• Collaborating in a small and entrepreneurial team

• Working from a fun environment in central Antwerp, but investing across Europe

What are we looking for?

• First-class business, economics, science or engineering degree

• Entrepreneurial mindset, initiative-driven and curious

• Excellent problem solving & communication skills

• Down-to-earth

• Financial literacy with solid Microsoft Office skills (in particular Excel and Powerpoint)

• Fluent in Dutch and English. French / Italian / Dutch / German Languages are a plus

• Prior 6 months internship experience in investment banking, strategy consulting or PE

• We aim to build a concentrated portfolio of investments we can support over the longer term and provide with the necessary tools to compound growth on a pan-European level. We typically invest €10-50M of capital per investment and currently have a portfolio of 9 platforms, with more than 30 deals completed so far

• We provide patient capital, with impatience to succeed. We are not afraid of the road less travelled

Practicalities:

Location: Antwerp. Occasional (foreign) travel might be required

Duration: Period 6 months minimum

Starting date: we are recruiting on a rolling basis
